Just When You Think Iceland Couldn’t Get Any Better…

As if photographing in Iceland couldn’t get any better, last night I had another amazing night of Northern Lights on the Reykjanes Peninsula. And I mean amazing! We had a lighthouse, sea stacks, crashing waves, moonlight and glorious northern lights above us. The Reykjanes Peninsula sea stacks are located in the southernmost point of Iceland on the Greenland Sea.
The steam from the geothermal plant nearby in Reykjanesvirkjun could be seen in back of the lighthouse at times blending in with the northern lights.
