Heading to Campos Viejos Ranch, South Texas

I’m heading down to South Texas to Campos Viejos Ranch near the Mexican border to do some bird photography with several other photographers. The lower Rio Grande Valley near the Mexico border and the thorn-bush country just north of it are supposed to be phenomenal for bird photography. I also plan to visit the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge and Falcon State Park. Our base camp will be the 1,000-acre Campos Viejos Ranch which is said to have terrific blinds and access to multiple habitats. This should be a great trip. Stand by for photos…
